I'm super happy to be able to share with you my new, free patch pack for the Korg Volca Drum - 16 brand new kits exploring the Volca's exciting synthesis engine. You can hear each of the kits in this video and get the patches for free on my site here:

Follow the patch links to open the patches in my free Volca Drum patch editor and send them to your Volca Drum - don't forget to save them to a kit slot.

I hope you enjoy playing with these kits as much as I did creating them!

I've said it before but it needs saying again: Korg need to put you on their payroll as their Volca ambassador.  Top work fella.  I'm trying to finish my own first 16 kits so wont be downloading these atm but they've certainly given me some inspiration.  Do you have any tips 'n tricks re hihat and cymbal synthesis? There's gotaa be more to the hihat recipe than short HP noise right? How do I add flavour to hats and crash cymbal noises? Cheers.

These sound great. 😍 The drum kits all sound great so I can't pick a favorite. Vyla offered the most intrigue. Very nice of you to provide for free! 👍👍

I can't pick a favourite.  They're all good in their own ways. The Gamalan and Reso kits are crazy creative. Vyla would be amazing if the pitch scaling was easier to control/sequence.  I like the first two soft kits (very headnod hip hop) but I'd change the non standard drum sounds.  FM1 is on some Neptunes/NERD tip. I love the conga/hi-tom in Deep2.

Lovely! It's so hard to choose, so I'll say OS-Vyla and OS-Gamalan are my two favorites. But I really like them all. Thank you yet again for sharing! Now I am inspired to share the better kits I've come up with.

Outstanding. I like so many of them, it's hard to pick favorites! I particularly liked OS-Soft2, every OS-Retro, OS-Vyla (amazing work), OS-Deep2, and OS-Reso1.
